REDOX is a measure of the oxidation/reduction potentail of a water system and is used extensively as a means of automatically dosing oxidising biocides such as chlorine into water systems that require microbiological control.

REDOX controllers require regular inspection once installed. The Kittiwake OrpScan REDOX meter provides a means of checking controller accuracy without the need to remove the equipment. REDOX can also be measured using a handheld pH meter (with mV function) and REDOX probe.
