Legionella L8 Test Kits

Legionella bacteria are found in potable, air conditioning, cooling towers, heating and other industrial water systems. The bacteria causes Legionnaires disease with potentially fatal symptoms, similar to pneumonia.

Health & Safety Commission guidelines L8, specify a number of tests that must be regularly undertaken to control both the microbiological and chemical content of cooling water, in order to maintain effective system control.

The Kittiwake L8 Legionella Water Test Kits include all chemical and biological tests recommended for good operating practice by HSC L8 guidelines*. All tests are contained in a convienient, fully portable and robust case and come with detailed splash-proof instructions. Replacement reagents for all tests are also easily available from Kittiwake.
