Biocide Test Kits for Cooling Water 

Kittiwake now have available the first in a range of industrial biocide test kits for field use. These test kits have been designed for the analysis of oxidising and non-oxidising biocides, added to cooling water as part of managed treatment programs.

Regulations for the use and monitoring of non-oxidising biocides are increasing across Europe. Accurate and reliable test results determined in the field, give the water treatment professional the confidence to make immediate process specific decisions. 

Standard Biocide Test Kits 

FG-K25647-KW: Isothiazolinone Test Kit

Comprised of a simple, quantitative colour comparison test, this disposable test kit contains sufficient reagents for fifty tests. Enables non-technical personnel to measure isothiazolinone levels in minutes.

FG-K25648-KW: Quats/Polyquat/Amine Test Kit

This quantitative, ECON titration test is suitable for industrial cooling water and swimming pool applications (Polyquat). Results are available in under two minutes, with sufficient reagents provided for up to 100 tests. 

FG-K28206-KW: Chlorine (Free & Total) Test Kit

A self-contained kit, complete with pictorial instruction sheet and sufficient reagents for up to 100 tests. This ECON test kit comes with comparator, cells and disk for quick and accurate analysis of results. 

FG-K28203-KW: Bromine (Total) Test Kit

The ECON Bromine Comparator Kit provides a quick and easy way to measure total biocide concentrations in aqueous samples. A quantitative colorimetric test which is suitable for industrial cooling water and swimming pool applications .

FG-K27001-KW: Bardac 22 (Low Level) Test Kit

A “single use” ECON titration kit containing all equipment, a colour chart, instructions and sufficient reagents for 160 tests. Designed specifically for the analysis of low levels of Bardac 22 in cooling water systems . 

FG-K27001-KW: THPS Test Kit

A complete test kit for the determination of Tetra Hydroxymethyl Phosphonium Sulphate in re-circulating cooling water and drilling applications. Plastic case containing syringes, bottles, reagents, instructions and a titration syringette.

Cases and Foams

Individual biocide test kits are provided in compact cardboard boxes containing all necessary equipment. The THPS Test Kit is available in a rugged ABS plastic case, complete with foam inserts for the safe storage of all equipment and reagents.
